Statement of Warranty Coverage
At winlor, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest standard of quality and craftsmanship. We take great pride in the window coverings we manufacture and aim to ensure your satisfaction from the moment of purchase and for years to come.
winlor provides a limited lifetime warranty on components: Cassettes, Bottom Rails, and Tubes.
To ensure accuracy and completeness of your order, customers have five (5) calendar days from the date of pick-up or delivery to notify winlor of any missing components (such as slats, blinds, brackets, etc.) or any manufacturing defects related to fabric or material. After this five-day window, the order will be considered 100% complete and delivered to the customer's satisfaction. No claims for missing or defective components will be honored beyond this initial period.
Ongoing Warranty Coverage
Operating Mechanism Warranty (3 Years)
All operating mechanisms, including but not limited to cord locks, ladders, and tilt gears, are covered under a three-year limited warranty. This warranty also applies to standard components such as brackets, wands, caps, and other hardware used in the assembly and function of the window coverings.
Fabric & Material Warranty
- Value fabrics: 1-year limited warranty
- Silver fabrics: 3-year limited warranty
- Gold fabrics: 5-year limited warranty
Motorized Products Warranty (1 Year)
All products under the winlor Motorization Program are covered by a 1-year warranty from the original date of purchase. This includes motors used in automated or remote-controlled window coverings.
Note: Motorized accessories, batteries, and any issues arising from customer reprogramming or tampering with motor settings are excluded from coverage.
Warranty Exclusions
- Damage resulting from accident, misuse, alteration, abuse, or misapplication
- Failure to follow proper installation, handling, operation, or cleaning instructions
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, fraying, or minor fabric changes from use or sunlight exposure
- Damage from pets, insects, or environmental conditions (salt air, excessive humidity)
- Loss of pleating or structure due to prolonged position
- Waves or creases in large blinds if not regularly extended fully
- Warping of wood blinds or woven wood shades in high-humidity or wet areas
Natural Material Considerations
Products made from natural materials, such as Wood Blinds and Woven Wood Shades, are subject to inherent variations in color, grain, and texture. These include:
- Minor warping, bowing, or bending of slats and reeds
- Knots, mineral streaks, and other natural wood markings
These are natural characteristics and not considered defects.
Warranty Service Process
- Return the defective blind(s) to the original dealer or Blinds Hub showroom
- Provide the original invoice or sales receipt as proof of purchase
Returned products must be in reasonably maintained condition. winlor reserves the right to refuse warranty claims on poorly maintained, dirty, or mishandled blinds.
If winlor determines that the claim is valid, we may repair or replace the product. If the original style or color is discontinued, we may substitute with a similar product of equal or greater value. Minor color variations may occur due to manufacturing batches.
Limitations of Warranty & Legal Disclaimer
This warranty is non-transferable except by written agreement and applies only to the original purchaser. winlor disclaims all other warranties not expressly stated herein, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including transportation, shipping, installation costs, or loss of product use.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights depending on your location.
Custom Product Policy
All custom-made window coverings are final sale. Due to their made-to-order nature, there are no refunds or exchanges on custom blinds, even if under warranty.
Effective Date: April 21st, 2025 — This warranty supersedes all previous versions.
